“Canada's Forgotten War in Russia” is an article-style honours thesis which was authored by myself under the supervision of Drs. David F. Duke and Paul Doerr as a requirement for graduation in the Honours program in History at Acadia University in 2025. It is primarily a work of diplomatic and strategic history which examines the Russian Civil War and Canada’s varied and peculiar connections therein.

This memoir was authored by my grandfather, Lance Corporal Arthur Bridge of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada. It was published in the year 2000 as an article in volume 9 of Canadian Military History and details his experience in St. Lambert-sur-Dives in the battle of the Falaise Gap.
